ABOUT ME

Rachael McNutt is a Washington, D.C.–based actor working in theatre, film, and television with a strong background in physicality and improvisation. Working professionally from NYC to DC, she has trained with and befriended some of the best in the industry. She looks forward to telling your stories with her own vigor.

Rachael is a versatile performer with a deep love for classical text. Her favorite roles include Miranda in The Tempest and Peter Quince in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She is also a director, most proud of her work directing The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, where she also served as the intimacy coordinator and fight choreographer. She highly values collaboration and strives to bring authenticity and emotional truth to every performance.

Beyond her acting career, Rachael is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). She serves her community with care and empathy when it matters most. Additionally, she has been teaching and coaching young theatre artists at StageCoach Theatre Company for several years. She hopes to guide and inspire young performers as they find their way in the work.
